This site was created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Gene's passing--the day in 1971 when the world turned blue--and to give fans and lovers of Gene Vincent 's music in the Los Angeles area an opportunity to get together on october 12th 2011 .

The celebration will take place at Joe's Great American Bar And Grill in Burbank, CA, on October 12th, and will start at 6:00 PM.
